Gloria has put out an amazing novel with her first work of historical fiction. This was an enjoyable read that once I started reading I didn’t want to put down. Gloria did an excellent job with the historical research for this novel. Several times during the story I thought “Wow, did that really happen?” I loved the story and felt like I had been taken back in time. The ending of A Pilgrim Passing Through left me wondering –- I can’t wait for the next book.

Thank you for autographing it for me. I have read the book and wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed it. Great work! My next door neighbour, who is gone now, was a home boy from Ireland. I found it interesting to read about another.

I really enjoyed this book. I found it difficult to put down as I wanted to see what happened next. It was very interesting to see how people might have lived before my time and some of the sacrifices that one would have had to make in order to better their lives. I can't wait for the next book to be published.
